Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at Hiroshima University, Japan 

 

The Graduate School of Science at Hiroshima University has an opening 

for a tenure-track assistant professor position to promote scientific 

research activities classified in “Space Science”, where experimental 

studies at the LHC are definitely included. The working place will be initially 

allocated at the University campus though, according to his/her working 

plan, he/she may have chance to stay most of time outside the campus,  

under agreements with the program director. 

 

The successful candidates will have, at least; 

  • strong activities in his/her field, being under 40-years-old as of April 1, 2014. 
  • Ph.D in physics or in a closely related field, being completed within the last 10 years. 
  • good oral and written communication skills in English, but not required in Japanese. 

This tenure-track-program has just started in this fall, and the job 

appointment should begin no later than the end of March 2016.
